I started painting this kit after the local event here in our province as an ice breaker from painting the PG DM Unicorn. It is really tiring doing perfect grades because of the number of parts and the size of each of them. An RG kit has basically the same number of parts but on a smaller scale. I have been wanting to do a painted set of the Stardust Mobile Suits so I decided to start on this one. My goal was to achieve a GFF like paint job not to shiny not to matte. A good friend of mine Studio JB Mecha Custom does paint job using cans and does a decent metal like effect on armors I wanted to achieve something like that. Not to clean not too dirty and subtle hint of uneven surface just like what a real metal would look like when painted. Then again that was just my excuse for not doing a clean pain job :p
Anyway here are some of the WIP phootos:

Pardon the nub mark on the verniers these will be cleaned before the final base coat :)

Here's a shot of the inner frame and sub armors with some color details. I wish I could paint those inner frame pistons into some metallic bronze or copper. Will try that later maybe.

Base black my color of choice for all my build.

Silver on top of the black to seal the paint immediately as the black base tends to dry up too slow. and also to lighten the shadow effect.

I am hoping to finish this one ASAP hopefully by the end of the month and do the Full Burner immediately after.
