So I finally got time to write something and as first post for my Blog I'm going to write a brief review on the Nanye Nipper for plastic model kits.
Picked this image(see below picture) as it has the similar GodHand Nipper Cover mine has none when it arrived. So make sure you ask the seller first and check the item. I am not really sure if it really comes with those or it might be on the first release.

As mentiond the nipper is similar to that of the God Hand SPN-20 Ultimate Nipper 5.0 which is also Single Blade(see below pic)

I also own one of this so i might do a comparison on the cut later if time permits. This cost 3 times that of the Nanye so it was still a fair enough price for a single bladed nipper claiming to be as good as the God hand.
I got my hands on the nipper a couple of weeks back when saw it from a post from one of the Admins of an FB group. I was trying to get a hold of this nipper since the start of the year and seeing as he was the only one selling it locally at that time I bought it for Php900. This is pricey if your used to non japanese brands its almost the same price as a Tamiya thin blade nipper. Anyhow I wanted to get one so I asked a friend to pick it up for me. Its only now that I was able to test it on a kit.
Here are some of the actual images of the nipper that I got. I threw away the packaging I'm not going to need those anyway.

The overall aesthetics of the nipper looks like a the God Hand only with an orange and yellow handle rather than blue and it is slightly larger than the God Hand Nipper.

One Side of the nipper has the Nanye Brand Logo printed on the metal just like the God Hand.

Back of the blade and a closer shot.

I wanted to show the sharp edge but I am just using a crappy phone cam. pardon the fingernails :P

Side shot. What this lacks is the metal stopper that the God hand has to prevent the nipper from opening wider than necessary.

Finally here is a sample of runners that were cut from the sprue using the Nanye nipper the cut was clean and flat enough but seeing those white marks indicates stress. I am not sure if it is because the sprue that i tested on was a Daban kit(Bootleg). I will be testing this on a bandai sprue later on and update this post.
To describe the experience using the nipper on actual plastic as compared to the God Hand I could use the following methaphor. As the God Hand is described as cutting thru plastic with it is like cutting thru butter, the Nanye nipper is also like cutting butter when used on plastic the only difference is that the butter you are cutting came from the refrigerator. That said, that is more than acceptable for the price range and another Pro for the Nanye nipper is the metal used. The blade is harder than that of the God hand and will not easily deform when accidentally used on hard plastic.
For those who are looking for a good and affordable nipper for OOTB clean build this is most recommended. A local online seller is selling this now for Php400+. If you love tools and wants different types for cutting different kinds of sprue i recommend getting this and add it in your arsenal of tools for gunpla modelling.
Kbye.
